How to: Change the color palette used for the desktop colors.
Solution:
Adjust the settings under the 'Display' icon in 'Control Panel'.
1) Do one of the following to open the 'Display' icon:
a) Use the 'Start' menu:
1] Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2] Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'.

3] Double-click the 'Display' icon. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)

b) Display the 'Desktop' pop-up menu:
1] Right-click on any empty area of the desktop. (A pop-up menu appears.)
2] Select 'Properties' from the pop-up menu. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)
2) Click the 'Settings' tab.
3) Select a different option from the 'Color palette' drop-down list box.

4) Click 'Apply'. (A 'Systems Setting Change' dialog box appears prompting whether or not to restart the computer. The computer must be restarted for the settings to take effect.)
5) Click 'Yes' to enable settings immediately, or 'No' to enable changes the next time the computer is started.
